After a fantastic Saturday with my family, things took a minor turn for the worse today. I felt under the weather lacking the energy to do much along with other issues – such as my grandfather turning ill. I was anticipating this weekend to be the weekend to revise and post a couple of my poems. Unfortunately, I am behind schedule.
However, I am keeping my fingers crossed that tomorrow will be the day I can work on them. Plus, this evening I had scheduled a meeting with one of the best dancers/choreographers ever, but I had to reschedule for another time. I was disappointed in myself for doing that, but the family issue was beyond my control. Nevertheless, when the time comes to discuss writing blogs for his website, I trust the meeting with him will be a successful one.
On a lighter note, I received a Facebook message from a friend from high school regarding a couple of things including my book A Second Chance. She wants to purchase a copy of my book. I will be mailing her an autograph copy this week. I am enthusiastic that a year after publication, people are still interested in my work. I admire the support tremendously.
The three books I ordered for my book review section are on their way. Just in case you are wondering, I am an old-fashion paperback kind of gal. I love the smell and feel of a brand new book. I’m not a huge fan of reading novels on my iPad or any electronic device.
Well, it’s time to log off and get the rest I need, if I plan to execute any of my writing projects this upcoming week.
I hope you and grandfather feel better soon Mayra. Sleep well.
Thank you John!
